Description:
A circular walk from
Dymock, which was home to the Dymock Poets including Edward
Thomas, Robert Frost and Rupert Brooke. This trail offers a
rich tapestry of ponds & streams, meadows and lakes and
woods & Orchards.
This is a circular walk
from Wenchford picnic site and includes a forest pond, a free
mine, and a viewpoint offering a wonderful panorama of the forest,
with glimpses of the Severn Vale and Cotswold Hills. The walk
is fairly steep in places.
This is a waymarked
circular footpath, which completely encircles Cheltenham. The
walk was devised by the local council and the Ramblers Association.
There is obviously a complementary mix of urban and countryside
scenery, which is sure to please all walkers.
